OneWeb’s Global Connectivity Platform satisfies Government requirements to equip fixed-wing, rotary-wing and unmanned aerial systems (UASs) with game-changing levels in connectivity.

Air Forces are able to exploit Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and enhanced levels of Situation Awareness (SA) that are reliant on low latency (<50ms), high data rate (<195Mbps) communications, and an ‘ecosystem’ of proprietary technologies, including LEO-only Airborne User Terminals, to provide pilots and crew with high throughput performance and efficiency across multiple environments.

OneWeb solutions provide land forces with seamless, secure voice and data communications that allow personnel to establish and maintain tactical advantage on the ground. Solutions are military-compliant, to meet stringent requirements of forward-deployed units operating at the ‘tactical edge’, particularly in areas of operation where peer adversaries can disrupt, degrade and intercept communications.

Solutions are tailored to satisfy connectivity requirements for ‘Early Entry’ communications teams and ensure maximum levels in Command and Control and Situation Awareness across any given theatre.

Surface vessels are able to access the OneWeb network through small, lightweight and ruggedised Maritime User Terminals which can be integrated on board almost any platform type regardless of payload restrictions.


OneWeb Satellites, Florida, U.S.

OneWeb, together in partnership with Airbus Defence and Space, and OneWeb Satellites, is revolutionizing the economics of space. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites can be manufactured to order for OneWeb customers from our state-of-the-art facility located at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The plant is equipped to build up to two LEO satellites everyday, not only for OneWeb's launch program, but also to customers around the world.

We have created an industrial supply chain consisting of approximately 40 suppliers, each of whom is themselves mass producing parts for our satellites with reduced costs and production time in comparison to larger Middle Earth Orbit (MEO) and Geostationary (GEO) satellites.

OneWeb satellites are also designed with agnostic interfaces that are compatible with many different payloads. Our standardized payload interface provides end users with cost savings and opens the door to new kinds of mission requirements.

Using OneWeb’s proprietary ‘ecosystem’ of global gateways and user terminals, our Low Earth Orbit satellites provide complementary capabilities to existing MEO and GEO satellite communications.
