    Range & design

    Our Offshore parabolic UTs are designed and constructed to operate in harsh the offshore environment. Our most powerful antennas are a fraction of the cost of traditional hardware - and we have achieved this through he innovation in our technology. 

    The size of OneWeb's low Earth orbit antennas makes them easy to transport; and their design means they are simple to install, along with with a Customer Network eXchange (CNX) unit which provides the power and data connection.
    The parabolic antennas range in size from 69cm (27”) diameter and 55cm (22”) tall, to 85cm (33") in diameter and 77cm (30") tall. The antennas can operate in extreme temperatures, as low as -40degree C.

    OneWeb's offshore UTs are designed to work in the most challenging environments, while delivering high-speed, low latency connectivity to remote locations. 
    We follow the same approach to engineering our UTs as we do with engineering our satellites, to meet both current and future requirements specific to the offshore environment.
    OneWeb has successfully deployed UTs in some of the most remote locations in the world, and we support fulfilment services for our partners.

    Managing your UTs

    Using cloud-based and self-service tools, OneWeb offers frequent monitoring, upgrades, and remote maintenance of offshore UTs; we also facilitate rapid, technical support for high priority issues.

    With the use of our industry-leading technology, OneWeb's Device Hub provides partners direct access each UT, allowing them to conduct firmware updates and perform diagnostic tests as well as monitor real-time data. This lessens the demand for, and expense of in-person servicing. Partners have access to product and service support, a knowledge base, and the capacity to proactively monitor and address problems thanks to Service Hub.
    For further help and troubleshooting, our Customer Technical Assistance Centre (CTAC) links partners with our own experts 24/7. Account Hub manages contracts, quotes, and orders in a single, secure location so that partners can provide first-rate customer service.
